Loft Conversion Creating a Self-Contained Flat
This project entailed Moduloft designing a self-contained flat that would not only add value to this amazing old property but become a fabulous bright and structured space to include 2 new rooms and a fully fitted bathroom. Bathroom fitted during the factory build to speed up install on site.
The Results
As part of the planning the building’s original cornicing had to be kept which made for a very delicate operation. The new roof space not only raised the pitch but was designed to make use of daylight, so every room embraces the daylight and the skyline via a range of Velux windows.
The developer was keen to have minimum disruption to other tenants and so Moduloft was ideal with its super-fast install on site for only 2 weeks.
This modern style new flat truly works well to provide a bright living space with height and a modern feel.
