Three Homes, One Wimbledon Close
Wimbledon, London (SW19)

The story
Some of the best proof of our work isn’t a single project, it’s a street. In one quiet Wimbledon cul-de-sac, three separate families have now chosen Moduloft to add space to their homes. Each saw the work happen next door or a few doors down, the speed, the lack of mess, the finish, and decided to do the same. In a close where everyone sees everything, that’s the strongest recommendation a builder can have.
Three homes, three different briefs
What makes the close a good showcase is how different the three conversions are, all delivered by the same off-site method:
Same factory, same method, three homes shaped to three families’ needs.
Why the street followed
Every one of these was built in our North Yorkshire factory while the family stayed living at home, then craned into place in a day and finished in weeks, not the months a traditional build takes. On a small close, that matters twice over: the disruption to the whole street is minimal, and the result is there for every neighbour to see. One conversion led to the next, and the next, which is exactly how trust spreads, by example, not advertising.

Let’s Build Your Dream Loft Today
Why neighbours chose us, again and again

Faster than a traditional build.
Weeks on site, not the months a conventional roof lift takes.

One fixed price, one team.
Built, transported and installed by our own specialist teams, on a fixed price agreed up front, with planning and building control handled.

Minimal disruption to the whole street.
The build happens in our factory, not on the close. There’s no half-year of scaffolding, skips and trades, which matters even more when your neighbours are feet away.

You stay living at home.
No moving out, no renting elsewhere. Every family on the close stayed in their home throughout.

A finish neighbours wanted to copy.
The proof is in the street itself, each conversion led the next, because people could see the quality next door.

Craned in and watertight in a day.
Each new floor was lifted into place in a single day, so the visible upheaval was over almost before it began.
