Some of the best proof of our work isn’t a single project, it’s a street. In one quiet Wimbledon cul-de-sac, three separate families have now chosen Moduloft to add space to their homes. Each saw the work happen next door or a few doors down, the speed, the lack of mess, the finish, and decided to do the same. In a close where everyone sees everything, that’s the strongest recommendation a builder can have.

Three homes, three different briefs

What makes the close a good showcase is how different the three conversions are, all delivered by the same off-site method:

• A generous single room in around 50 sqm, with pitched dormers front and rear, a bright, characterful addition that sits naturally on the roofline.
• Two new rooms and a bathroom in around 53 sqm, finished with an oak staircase to match the home’s existing stairs, the family gaining proper additional bedrooms and a bathroom.
• A family playroom and bathroom in around 75 sqm, with the new floor opened into the existing study below to connect the home across levels.

Why the street followed

Every one of these was built in our North Yorkshire factory while the family stayed living at home, then craned into place in a day and finished in weeks, not the months a traditional build takes. On a small close, that matters twice over: the disruption to the whole street is minimal, and the result is there for every neighbour to see. One conversion led to the next, and the next, which is exactly how trust spreads, by example, not advertising.
