Two-Storey Loft Extension, Buckinghamshire
The brief
Following a successful planning application, this Buckinghamshire property needed an additional level, a new factory-prepared roof with an increased pitch and ridge height, delivering two genuine new bedrooms.
What we did
We designed and delivered the new roof on time and on budget, adding two en-suite bedrooms, each with its own walk-in wardrobe. The existing oak staircase was seamlessly extended from the original flight up to the new second-floor level, and a large roof light was added above the stairwell, flooding natural light down to the ground-floor entrance hall.
The result
A genuine two-storey raise, two en-suite bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes, delivered on time and on budget, with the existing staircase and light extended rather than replaced.
