Marlow Loft Conversion

The brief
A home on Queens Road in Marlow needed a genuine master suite, a master bedroom with en-suite, plus a study, converting unused loft space into real, usable living area.
What we did
We built a complete new floor in our North Yorkshire factory, finished in natural slate with concrete tile-hung gables to match the existing character of the home. A single front dormer, tile-hung to match the main gables, was fitted with a 1200mm white upvc window, alongside four MK08 and one CK04 Velux roof windows bringing light throughout. A double winding staircase in softwood with MDF treads and risers connects the new floor, and fire doors were fitted to all three new first-floor habitable rooms as standard. The whole project, structural design, planning submission, and Building Regulations approval, was included as part of the fixed-price contract.
The result
A genuine master bedroom with en-suite and a separate study, delivered with full planning permission and structural sign-off included, on a fixed price agreed from the outset.
