The brief

This St Peter home needed proper family accommodation in the roof, a master bedroom, a further double bedroom and a house bathroom, without the months of scaffolding and trades a traditional build would bring to an island home.

What we did

We designed and built the new floor off-site in our North Yorkshire factory, then shipped it over and craned it into place. The finished conversion added 81 sq/m, a master bedroom, a further double bedroom and a bathroom, lit by six Velux roof windows and two dormer windows, with new timber-frame gable ends finished in composite weatherboard and a rear projection roof to make the most of the space.
