Wimbledon Loft Conversion with Front and Rear Dormers

The brief

Owners on a quiet Wimbledon close wanted to add a generous new room in the roof, more living space without the disruption of a long traditional build, on a street where Moduloft has worked more than once. The brief was a single, well-proportioned new floor that suited the character of the home and the close.

What we did

We designed and built the new floor off-site in our North Yorkshire factory, then craned it into place, with the existing water tanks relocated to make room. The conversion added a generous new TV and family room lit by four pitched, tile-clad dormers, two to the front and two to the rear, giving the space balanced light and a roofline that sits naturally on the house.
