The brief
This St Brelade home wanted more than just bedrooms in the roof, the brief called for two bedrooms and a bathroom alongside an open-plan office and living area, a flexible new space for both family life and working from home.
What we did
We designed and built the new floor off-site in our North Yorkshire factory, then shipped it over and craned it into place. The finished conversion added 66 sq/m, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan office and living area, lit by eight Velux roof windows and timber gable windows to front and rear. One chimney was removed to ground floor ceiling level to make room for the new layout, with the remaining chimney’s masonry raised to suit.
