We are thrilled to support our local charity Ripon Community Link, we regularly supply them with surplus wood we have from our factory. The amazing work they are doing in the community to provide services that help adults with disabilities is a credit to the volunteer team and their vision to ensure it is a safe and above all enjoyable place to be.
The renovation of an old barn in the walled garden has been a focus for months, the vision to create a workshop where we can encourage creativity to learn news skills and how to create woodwork that we can then sell and the proceeds go to charity. A true labour of love for our volunteers and its now complete and recently been officially opened.
Our focus is wood and crafting our bespoke Moduloft solution, so aligning ourselves to provide a regular supply of spare wood makes so much sense, and it’s going to a local worthy cause. Paul Thompson, Moduloft said, “it is wonderful to see the development opportunities offered to individuals, and we are proud to have Ripon Community Link as our Charity partner”.
The walled garden is something to see and this not only embraces nature of the seasons but now embraces skill in sharing knowledge on how to create wonderful items in the new workshop whilst enabling us to help others that need an outlet to learn and be creative.
